These two pictures dramatically demonstrate the effectiveness of security window film, as the film held the broken glass on the window on the left intact and prevented water intrusion. A neighbor's window, less than 5 feet to the north, did not have security window film, and blew out, leaving a framework of dangerous glass fragments. The window glass and frames in these two homes were the same, except the one on the left had security film.
